Linda’s poem – Good question……….

How much of our lives is preordained?

opinions vary
after all
Mary was destined to conceive
baby Jesus
we’re led to believe

for aeons
theologians and philosophers
have argued and debated
whether or not we have free will
or events in our lives are fated.

as a palmist
in people’s hands I see
that certain things
are indisputably meant to be

and that is undeniably true
accordingly
over time
I have come to the conclusion
that the concept of free will
is in fact
a complete illusion.
